My take on this ADHD group:
-
My GOAL for this class is to help reduce the stigma of ADHD and walk away with a few specific strategies to self-regulate that can help improve your life.
-
TOPICS will focus on how to strengthen executive function skills.
-
EXECUTIVE FUNCTION skills include: Impulsivity, disorganization, inattention, time management, moodiness, and indecision.
-
YOUR PART will consist of sharing with the group, supporting others, and identifying the skills that help you be more in control of your life.
-
RESEARCH shows that CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) can be effective in managing adult ADHD. So I will draw from what the most recent reserch on ADHD has been proven to work.
I hope you will join us!
